Inception (Trailer analysis)

The Inception trailer starts off on a slow pace, with what suggests the main character (Leonardo DiCaprio) speaking of something the audience does not know about. As the trailer progresses it becomes more fast pace, with the music becoming fast pace because of the pitch, tone and pace, also by the editing, there becomes a lot more jump cuts, which gives the trailer a faster moving pace. At the start of the trailer were the main character is talking, the dialogue is slow and calm, but again as the trailer moves on the dialogues become faster, and shouting and also different characters are brought in. We can see in the trailer that the genre is thriller, because there is no evidence of horror or any other genres. The trailer does not give the viewer a lot about the plot in the trailer, but just enough to entice the viewer to go and see. This trailer presents a lot of enigmas, which could show that the film is psychologically challenging.
