Our Trailer (Location permission)

Whilst filming our trailer we had to get permission to film in some of the locations. For scenes of the film where in public locations there-fore we did not need to get permission to film there.
We did however need to get permission off

• Costa Coffee
• The house owner
• The reverend at the graveyard

Getting permission:

• The house we used was fortunately my house so i asked my parents and they gave us the permission to film in any room of the house.
• In Costa Coffee, we decided to film outside because the noise level was louder inside than outside, so therefore we did not need to get permission as it was not inside the Costa premises.

• For the grave yard, I took it to email the reverend and ask his permission if we could film in the graveyard and also use two grave stones, we came to an agreement where by we were only allowed to use the back of two gravestones. The email is situated below.

Our Trailer (Locations not used)

This is a bathroom that we were originally going to use, we were going to steam up the bathroom and write on the mirror or put a hand print on the glass. We did not use this location because it was too hard to see the writing in the mirror.

Our Trailer (Rooms used)

There are many different locations we used in our trailer.

The maghull train station, we chose this because we felt it fitted in with the style of genre/filming that we were looking for.

We asked the attendent that was duty if it was ok for us to film she gave us verbal permission on the basis that we did not film any passengers of Merseytravel. Costa Coffee in Ormskirk we used for a scene in our trailer and it was good because it is a quiet area so we knew that we would not have a lot of outside noise. The cafe is very authentic and we felt that it would fit our trailer
Again we were legally required to gain permission to film there, we spoke to the manager of the cafe and she gave us permission to film there, she was also happy to sigh our contributor's release form.
St Andrews Church in Maghull was an ideal location as it is dark, erie atmosphere fitted in with the genre of our trailer We had to legally ask permission to film on the grave yard, I sent an email explaining the reason we needed to film there and what were filming. We got a response allowing us to film there.

Our Trailer (Actors)

Vicky Francis is our lead actress, she will be in every scene. We chose her because she has previously studied performing arts so has knowledge in acting.



Our second actress is Hannah Hobson, she is only participating in one scene as she is the lawyer who give Vicky the key to the house.

Our Trailer (Storyboards)

Our first step was to create a story board for our film/trailer. This would include pictures, shot types and dialogues.

Our Trailer (Costumes)

We decided that our trailer would be based on a real-life so therefore the costumes had to be realistic to fit the the trailer. We made sure that both actors knew what costumes they needed to be wearing on that day of filming.

Main actors costumes:

• Train station - Casual wear
• The house - Casual wear
• The alleyway - Casual wear
• The grave yard - Formal (funeral) wear
• The cafe - Casual wear

Our main actor Victoria had to wear the same costumes over two days, because that scene was split over a period of time. We made sure she knew this because it would effect the trailer hugely if she was wearing two different costumes in one scene and we needed our trailer to look realistic because it was based on real life.
